
Registration Fee
​
There is a one-time $35 registration fee at the time of registration for each dancer ($20 for each additional student in the same household) to reserve your spot for the fall- spring season.

Tuition
​
​We accept cash, check, and PayPal (starting in May 2026) for all payments. Tuition paid in full for the season receives a 7% discount. Tuition is due by the 20th of the month BEFORE or at the time of registration. For example, October's tuition is due on September 20th.
​
If your account is not paid in full by the 1st of each month, a 5% late fee will be applied for each week it is overdue. If your account is not paid in full (including late fees) by the end of the following month, your child will not be eligible to participate in class until accounts are up to date.
There is a $35 fee for all returned checks.
Tuition policies for Pursue Dance Team and Pursue Dance Company will be provided at their respective informational meetings. Please contact info@dancepursuit.com if you are interested in joining our company or team this season.

Cancellation Policy​
​
Cancellations due to unsafe road conditions​, bad weather conditions, or emergencies less than 8 hours before the start of class that day will be made up during spring break. All other cancellations will be exempt from make ups.
​
​Cancellations due to an instructor being sick or unavailable are eligible to be made up within 4 weeks of the cancelled class date. Students may take any additional class in the same or lesser age group/ ability.
​
We ask that any dancer unable to attend class due to an illness, vacation, school event, etc. email info@dancepursuit.com to inform the instructor of the absence.
​
If your dancer sustains a serious injury preventing them from safely participating in class (such as a broken bone, ligament tear, or concussion), you may elect to withdraw them from the remainder of the season. If you choose to withdraw, any tuition and fees paid up to the date of injury are non-refundable. If you choose not to withdraw, attendance is expected as normal and tuition rates will remain unchanged. Injured dancers attending classes are expected to be engaged, observant, and prepared to participate in class once fully healed.
*If you withdraw your child before the end of the season for any reason outside of a serious injury, there will be a $40 fee. You are expected to fulfill tuition through the end of the month and any/ all outstanding fees and balances.

Showcase​
​
The showcase is an optional performance for all dancers ages 18 and under (adult classes do not consistently participate in the showcase).
The showcase is held to feature all that your dancer has learned during the season. It is held at the beginning of June each year *see home page for exact date
​
There is a $75 fee for each dancer participating, which is due on February 1st. The performance fee includes tech rehearsal, a t-shirt to be worn during bows, and a commemorative award. Cost of the yearbook program, performance video, and tickets are not included and will be shared closer to the performance date.

Costumes
​
There is a $50 costume deposit for each class your dancer is taking that will perform in the showcase due on October 1st. The remaining balance is due on December 1st. Dancers that fail to have the requested costume, tights, shoes, and accessories will not be permitted to perform in the showcase.
Price Per Costume:
Dancers age 3-7: $65
Dancers age 8-18: $85 ​
*Costume fees are non-refundable.

Photoshoot
​
We are proud to offer all dancers the opportunity to have photos taken for each class performing in the Showcase performance. Photos will be taken during your dancers normal class time in the studio after they have received their showcase costume (date not yet determined). There is a $30 photo fee for each class (due date not yet determined). Each dancer will get a headshot and 3-5 action shots for each costume.

Solos, duos, and trios will be responsible for booking their own timeslot during photoshoot week. Fees may vary.

Showcase Program
​
We want to honor each dance year showcase with a program that you and your dancer keep as a memento to each performance with The Dance Pursuit. Each dancer that participates in the photoshoot will be featured in the program with their class.

Additional full, half, and quarter pages can be purchased to feature your dancer with handpicked photos and personalized details to make your child shine!

Dancer Etiquette and Expectations​
​​
We expect each dancer to carry themselves with pride, respect, and appropriateness. The Dance Pursuit has ZERO TOLERANCE for foul language, gossip, harassment, bullying, theft, property damage, violation of federal, state, and local laws, and trespassing. Inappropriate social media use will not be tolerated.
​
Dancers are expected to clean up after themselves before leaving each night. Food, spills, or garbage left behind is not allowed. Cell phone use in the studio is not allowed *unless an instructor gives explicit permission to video choreography
​
Only enrolled dancers are permitted in the dancers lounge during class times. Parents, guardians, friends, etc. are not allowed in the lounge unless there is a true emergency.
​
Dancers are expected to be picked up within 10 minutes of their last class.
​
The Dance Pursuit teachers, faculty, and staff are not responsible for any child once they leave the building.
